Position Summary Acute care beachside hospital looking for an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to staff a unit featuring 4 antepartum rooms, 9 labor/high-risk rooms, and 3 triage bays. Responsibilities include fetal heart monitoring, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, C-sections, and vaginal deliveries, with potential floating to postpartum for couplet care as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of recent L&D experience required
- Active and unencumbered California RN license (Compact license in hand at submission; pending licenses not accepted)
- Required Certifications: AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and FHM
- Commitment to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
