Description
Travel RN – High Risk Labor & Delivery
- Experience: 2+ years OB/L&D experience; travel experience required
- Shift: Self-scheduled; weekend rotation required
- Call: None
- Patient Ratios: 1:1–2 in labor; 1:3 antepartum
- Required: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or C-EFM
- EMR: Epic required
- Float: Mother-Baby (MB)
- Trauma: Level II experience required
- Unit: 20 beds, 26 rooms, approximately 250–300 deliveries/month
- Key Skills: High-risk labor management, fetal heart rate interpretation, Pitocin titration, magnesium sulfate, antepartum care, C-section circulation/recovery, vaginal delivery, newborn assessment, postpartum hemorrhage management, amnioinfusion, IUPC, internal/external fetal monitoring, and neonatal resuscitation.
- On-Site Requirement: EKG exam required with an 80% passing score
- Orientation: 36 hours
- RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract; only 1 major holiday RTO request allowed.
