OR RN — Valley View Hospital, Glenwood Springs, CO
Assignment Details
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts/week, with rotating evening/night/weekend call
- Call pattern (per 8-week period): typically 1 call weekend (Fri 1900–Mon 0700) + 4–5 weeknight call shifts (1900–0700)
- Radius rule: candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
About the Facility
- Valley View Hospital — Level III Trauma Center
- 4 state-of-the-art surgical suites, with a 5th under construction
- Case mix: Robotics (Exactech, Mako, Stealth, DaVinci), General, Eyes, Ortho, Brain/Spine, OB-GYN, ENT, Neuro, Plastics, Urology, Peds, Ortho/Spine Trauma
Requirements
- CO RN License or Compact RN License in good standing
- BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- 3 years of related experience
- CAPS registration required (apply ASAP — can take up to 2 weeks); out-of-state agencies without a CO office must register with their real address, selecting CO as the state

Housing Note: Valley View has newly remodeled studio apartments available ½ block from the hospital — $1,790/month (studio) or $1,980/month (1BR), including Wi-Fi, utilities, on-site laundry, fully furnished, no deposit, move-in ready (availability-based, no pets).
