🩻 Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist, you will:

Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare, position, and educate patients before and during procedures.
Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent image quality.
Complete appropriate MRI safety screening and identify potential contraindications.
Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to their needs.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Follow established patient safety, infection prevention, and MRI safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment.
Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and excellent patient communication.

🎯 Requirements

2+ years of MRI Technologist experience
ARRT – RT(R)(MR) required
ARMRIT certification may be accepted
BLS through American Heart Association
Strong MRI technology and patient-care skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
Computer proficiency and ability to learn facility-specific applications

BLS – AHA
