- Job Title: L&D - RN (Travel Contract)
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D)
- Location: Newport News, Virginia (Riverside Regional Medical Center)
- Shift: Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00 - 19:00)

Position Summary Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse needed for an acute care hospital assignment. Responsibilities require handling L&D patient care workflows with potential floating requested based on facility needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of recent L&D experience required (must be most recent experience)
- Active and unencumbered Virginia RN license or proof of compact license required at submittal
- Required Certifications: AHA-certified ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Recent Epic charting experience required; NIH and stroke education required for all acute care hospitals under Riverside Health
- Mandatory manager interview required for all candidates prior to placement

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
