Requirements

• 2+ years of RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Valid Compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at submission
• Epic experience required
• PCU/Stepdown/IMC/DOU experience required
• Cardiac experience preferred
• IV insulin drip experience preferred
• Experience with telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• IV start and peripheral line management skills
• Non-invasive airway management and oxygen administration experience
• Must be willing to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Every other weekend required
• 2 professional references required:
  • At least 1 must be from a manager, director, supervisor, or formal leader
  • Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference
  • Coworker references are not accepted
• RTO must be provided at submission and included in the contract
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing the contract
• Must be responsive and cooperative throughout credentialing
• Education must be from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program
• Former employees must have been away from the facility for at least 6 months
• Current employees are not eligible for a traveler position at Ohio State University hospital locations
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
