Description

Travel Clinical Oncology Pharmacist – Gold Beach, OR

Start Date: Sept 2026 (tentative, dependent on infusion center completion)
Contract: 26 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Call: Weekend, holiday & on-call rotation

Requirements:

PharmD required
Active Oregon Pharmacist (RPh) license required at submission
Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience
Strong clinical hospital pharmacy background
Oncology pharmacy experience required
Chemotherapy preparation experience required
Hazardous drug compounding experience required
Small hospital/independent practice experience preferred
Epic EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Review and verify oncology medication orders
Prepare and compound chemotherapy/hazardous medications
Evaluate dosing, drug interactions, and medication safety
Collaborate with oncology nurses, providers, and pharmacy staff
Support oncology infusion center operations
Maintain pharmacy documentation in Epic
Provide clinical pharmacy support within a 15-bed Critical Access Hospital
