Charting: Epic/Excellian
First-Time Travelers: Yes
Local Rule: 100-mile radius restriction
 

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk L&D experience required
• BLS & NRP required
• Advanced NRP, AWHONN Intermediate & FHM preferred
• Epic/Excellian experience required
• Previous travel experience not required
• Pending MN license accepted; license in hand preferred
• Must be willing to float to Postpartum

• Fetal monitoring and abnormal FHR recognition
• Magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, insulin drips and antihypertensives

• VBAC/TOLAC
• Neonatal resuscitation and APGAR scoring
• Antepartum and postpartum care

• High-risk antepartum care

Unit Details

• High-risk Labor & Delivery with Antepartum unit
• Ratio: 1:1
• Every other weekend
• No call required
• Float to Postpartum
• No block scheduling
• One RTO request allowed; ideally no more than 5 days
• Acute Care / Teaching Hospital / Level III Trauma
• 317 staffed beds
