- Job Title: L&D - RN (Travel Contract)
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D)
- Location: Santa Rosa, California (Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital)
- Shift: Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00 - 07:00; on call as needed, no weekend requirement)

Position Summary Staff Nurse II needed to independently provide professional, individualized nursing care for patients using the nursing process. Responsibilities include supervising the work and functions of other staff nurses, LVNs, CNAs, and clinical support associates while demonstrating age-specific competencies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of recent experience required
- Active California RN license (Must upload Nursys within the last 2 weeks)
- Required Certifications: AHA- or ARC-certified BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN
- Submission & compliance rules: 7-year work history verification required; local candidates accepted under the 50-mile radius rule; strict limit of maximum 7 days RTO and only 1 holiday per contract

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
