Variable schedule
Night: 4×10 hours, 9:00 PM–6:00 AM
Day: 3×12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
May be scheduled for 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts
40 hours/week guaranteed
Weekend coverage may be every weekend or every other weekend, depending on census/staffing

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience
Must have experience in a smaller acute care setting
Must be able to work as a generalist across all laboratory departments
Travel experience required
Experience with:
- Chemistry
- Hematology
- Coagulation
- Microbiology
- Blood Banking/Transfusion Services
- Urinalysis and microscopy
Must be able to perform moderate and highly complex laboratory testing
Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Community hospital experience preferred

Required Certifications / License

California CLS License – Required
BLS – Required
ACSP-CLSCA CPT – Required
Certifications must be current and from AHA or ARC
