- Shift: Days (3x12 / 4x12 rotating bi-weekly schedule, 07:00 - 19:30)

Position Summary 34-bed Stepdown / PCU unit seeking an experienced Registered Nurse. Patient ratios are typically 1:5, with floating required within scope of practice. Strict scheduling requires an 84-hour pay period split (3x12 one week, 4x12 the next week).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of current experience in the specialty required
- Active Kentucky or compact nursing license in hand at submission (No exceptions; locals not accepted—must reside at least 75 miles away)
- Required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH
- Compliance & Submission Rules: Valid Driver’s license (address must match permanent address and ARH coversheet), middle name confirmation required, strict limit of max 7 days RTO presented up front, and 2 required references completed within the last year (1 Charge or higher, 1 supervisor)

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
