Position Summary 284-bed facility seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a seasonal travel contract. Shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with on-call requirements from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday, 30-minute response time; no overnights required). Responsibilities include handling vascular/hybrid, trauma, and neuro procedures using DaVinci robotics and Meditech/CPN charting.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of current acute care OR RN experience required
- Active nursing license required at submission
- Required Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS
- Preferred qualifications: Prior travel experience at large trauma OR facilities, robotic surgery experience (DaVinci), and Meditech charting history

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
