Registered Nurse – Outpatient Surgery
📍 Location: Santa Rosa, CA
📅 Start Date: 09/21/2026
⏳ Contract: 13 Weeks
🕐 Shift: Days | 5×8 | Mainly 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
💼 Specialty: Outpatient Surgery / Pre-Op / PACU
Requirements
- 1+ year RN experience required
- CA RN license required; compact license accepted if in hand
- First-time travelers accepted
- BLS, ACLS & PALS required
- Epic experience preferred
- Pre-Op and PACU experience
- Phase I & Phase II recovery experience
- Flexible with occasional 6:00 AM–2:30 PM / 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shifts
- Must be willing to float to Main PACU if needed
Skills/Experience
- Pre- and Post-Op patient care
- PACU Phase I & II
- General, Orthopedic, Urology, Ophthalmology and other outpatient surgeries
- General/MAC/Local anesthesia and conscious sedation
- Pain management and medication administration
- Pre-op assessment, education and discharge instructions
Schedule Highlights
- Monday–Friday
- No weekends
- No holidays
- No call
- Approximately 10 patients/day
