Description

RRT Required
Patient assessment and respiratory treatment planning
Invasive and non-invasive ventilator management
Oxygen, aerosol and nebulizer treatments
Trach care and trach changes
Airway management and suctioning
Assist with intubations, bronchoscopies and bedside procedures
ABGs/arterial sticks
Pulse ox and capnography monitoring
12-lead EKGs and basic rhythm recognition
NIF, VC and other basic pulmonary measurements
Chest physiotherapy and secretion clearance
Vent setup, troubleshooting and monitoring
BLS/ACLS and emergency response
Patient/family education
Respiratory documentation and shift handoff
