Description
RN – MS/Tele
Location: Columbus, OH 43210
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 hrs/week
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Previous travel experience REQUIRED
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- EPIC experience REQUIRED
- IV Start and Telemetry Monitoring REQUIRED
- Experience with MS/Tele patient populations
- Must be willing to float within the OSU organization
- Minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Some weekend and holiday coverage required
- Patient ratio: 1:5
- Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only
Description:
MS/Tele Float Pool RN providing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical-surgical diagnoses. Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, central/PICC line management, medication administration, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, wound care, respiratory support, and rapid response/code team participation. The RN will float to different units within the OSU organization as needed and work collaboratively with IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, PT, social services, and rapid response teams.
