Description
UNIT: RAD TECH
Manager Interview
Experience required: 2 years of acute or surgical experience. Surgical/Procedure, General, Portables, Mid-high level hospital experience.
Fluoro: ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases.
OR ortho, general, spines. Preferred comfortable with o-arm.
Certs required: ARRT (R), BLS,WI License
Patient Types/Common Dianoses: Inpatient, Outpatient, ED, Procedural, all age ranges, little peds
Unit Information:
Beds: 5 diagnostic, 2 fluoro, 1 video swallow, clinic has 2 diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, 1 dental room
Census? Average patients/day? 15-20 per tech per day
Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years of acute or surgical experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Depending on skill level- looking for techs with highly competent surgery and procedure experience
Skills required:
Surgical/Procedure, General, Portables, Mid-high level hospital experience

Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC
X-ray equipment: GE, Fuji, Del Medical
PACS: McKesson
C-arm: GE 9900 and Elites and Medtronic o-arms
Floating: No
Scrub Color: surgery scrubs provided in house.
Parking: Free
Scheduling:
Start time 6a-8:30a
Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
On call? If so, what is that schedule? Yes, one call shift per week
1st call 0630-1400, 2nd 1400-2230, 3rd 2230-06300
Holiday Expectations: One holiday per contract
Should approval of RTO go through manager or will you allow the interviewing team (if applicable) to approve time off on your behalf? Go through manager
Shift times: Dependent upon posting and needs. Usually flex 1-1.5 hours between start times, depending on staffing
Schedule cycle: M-F and every other weekend. One day off during week leading up to work weekend
