Description
Must-Have Requirements
- Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RT)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RT experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT/RRT
- State License: LA or Compact license in hand at submission
- AHA certifications required
- Epic experience: Preferred
- Local candidates: Not accepted
- Must live more than 65 miles from the facility (based on driver’s license address)
- COVID-19 vaccine required — medical/religious exemptions only
- Flu vaccine required — medical/religious exemptions only
- References: 2 Manager/Supervisor references required before clearance to start
- Emergency Team: Must agree to remain at the facility or serve as relief during an emergency event if assigned by the unit manager
- First-time travelers accepted, but candidate must be an experienced RT
- Shift: 3×12-hour Day Shift, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
- Former Ochsner staff/in-house agency: Must be separated from Ochsner Health System for 1 full year before returning as a traveler.
