🔍 The Role

You'll join a busy, multifaceted ultrasound department where the ability to work independently and efficiently is essential.

The department operates around the clock Monday through Thursday, with additional daytime coverage Friday through Sunday. This is an excellent fit for a technologist who enjoys variety and is confident handling a wide range of studies with minimal supervision.

Breast & Small Parts

  • Breast ultrasound
  • Breast cyst aspiration

Vascular

  • Peripheral vascular resistance

This department is looking for a well-rounded technologist who can hit the ground running.

You'll need to be able to:

  • Scan independently
  • Prioritize studies in a fast-paced environment
  • Adapt to different patient populations
  • Perform multiple types of ultrasound examinations
  • Work confidently in the Emergency Department
  • Perform portable examinations
  • Handle both routine and urgent imaging needs
  • Communicate effectively with the care team
  • Maintain high-quality imaging and patient care standards

Vascular experience is particularly important for DVT studies.

Experience with paracentesis and thoracentesis is also preferred.

 

📋 Requirements

Required

  • 1+ year of Ultrasound Technologist experience
  • ARDMS certification
  • BLS certification
  • AB/OB/VASC credentials
  • Strong experience across:

    • General/abdominal ultrasound

    • DVT studies
  • Ability to work independently in a busy department
