Description
Requirements
- 3+ years related RN experience
- Neuro IMCU/Intermediate Care experience
- Experience with EVDs, lumbar drains & arterial lines REQUIRED
- MA RN License required at submission
- AHA CPR/BLS & ACLS required
- NIHSS
- EPIC experience required
- Basic ability to navigate web-based applications
Unit & Patient Population
- 18-bed Neuro Intermediate Care Unit
- 18 general neuroscience beds in the Rosenberg Building
- Patients may include:
- Arterial lines
- EVDs
- Lumbar drains
- Post-op Day 0 neuro patients
- Acute thrombectomy patients
- TPA administration
- Vasoactive infusions
- Patient ratio: 1:3
- May float to the Neuro ICU as needed
