RN – Operating Room / Surgery

Facility: Valley View Hospital
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO
Contract: 13 weeks | 38 hrs/week guaranteed
Schedule: 4×10-hour day shifts/week
Call: Rotating evening/night/weekend call

Job Description

Valley View Hospital is seeking an experienced Surgical RN to provide intraoperative nursing care during the perioperative process. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center with state-of-the-art surgical suites and a wide range of specialties.

Robotics: Da Vinci, Mako, Stealth, Exactech
General Surgery
Orthopedics & Spine
Neuro/Brain & Spine

OB-GYN
Urology
Ophthalmology
Plastics
Pediatrics
Trauma

Requirements

3+ years of Surgical/OR RN experience
Active Colorado or Compact RN license
BLS & ACLS – AHA
Strong intraoperative/perioperative experience

Call Schedule

4–5 weeknight call shifts per 8-week period
Generally 1 call weekend per 8-week period
Weekend call: Friday 7 PM–Monday 7 AM
Weeknight call: 7 PM–7 AM

75-mile radius rule applies
CAPS requirement for Colorado
Traveler housing available based on availability
Furnished studio: $1,790/month
Small 1-bedroom: $1,980/month
Wi-Fi, utilities & laundry included
