Assignment Details

• Specialty: Home Health
• Shift: Days, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Experience: Minimum 2 years
• Float: None
• EMR: Epic
• Certification: BLS
• Location: Portland, Maine

Weekend Scheduling
Schedule will depend on agency needs and may include:

• Every other weekend with a weekday off
• Permanent Tuesday–Saturday
• Permanent Sunday–Thursday

Call / After-Hours

• No overnight call
• May be asked to complete an additional visit 2–4 times per month between 5:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Traveler will know by 5:00 PM whether an extra visit is needed
• If no visit is assigned by 5:00 PM, there is no further call obligation

Caseload / Productivity

• Case manage approximately 20–25 patients
• Expected 5–6 visits per day
• May be utilized as a revisiting RN if agency needs change during the contract

• OASIS experience
• Epic experience

• IV therapy
• Tube feeds
• Wound VACs
• Compression wraps
• Port access
• Ostomy care
• Chest tubes
• Suprapubic catheters
• Lab draws
• Wound care

Patient Population
Adult patients including:

• Med/Surg
• Oncology
• Cardiac
• Neurological
• Respiratory
• GI/GU
• Wound care

Agency-Provided Equipment

• Laptop
• iPhone
• Chargers and accessories
• Nursing supply bin
• Nursing bag
• Vital-sign equipment
• INR machine

All agency equipment must be returned at the end of the assignment.

Ideal Candidate
Organized, collaborative, strong communicator, efficient with time management and documentation, and receptive to workflow or practice feedback.

Dress Code

• Business casual or scrubs of any color
• No jeans
• No open-toed shoes
• No clothing with holes
