Position Details

• Specialty: Dietitian
• Daily Caseload: 6–10 patients/day
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in:
  • ICU
  • Nutrition support
  • Custom PN management, including macros and micros
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Weekend Requirement: Monday–Friday
• BLS: Not required
• On-Call: None
• Floating: No
• Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to adult patients across acute care and progressive care floors.
• Manage nutrition support, including enteral nutrition (EN) and parenteral nutrition (PN).
• Manage macros and micros for custom PN formulas.
• Provide nutrition and diet education across a variety of disease states.
• Participate in interdisciplinary plan-of-care rounds.

License & Compliance

• Pending State License: Accepted.
• COVID Vaccine: Optional. UNMH requires COVID vaccination status to be reported. Upload vaccination series or Aya declination.
• RQI Certifications: Not accepted/required.
• RTO: Requests greater than 7 days require approval.
• Local Candidates: Not accepted within 100 miles.
• Guaranteed Hours: Contracted hours are 36/48/40 hours per week. Facility may call off up to 3 times.

Contract Requirements

• New contracts and extensions must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
• Travelers who have completed 4 consecutive assignments or reached the one-year mark, whichever occurs first, must take a 6-month break before returning.

Compensation / Additional Notes

• OT: Overtime applies after 48 hours for contracts signed on or after 10/30/2025.
