Description

Oncology Pharmacist

Position Requirements

Minimum Experience: 2 years
Oncology Experience: Inpatient or outpatient oncology experience required.
EPIC Beacon: Required.
PA State Pharmacist License: Required.
IV Training: Required.
Experience with hazardous and non-hazardous medication preparation required.

Schedule

40 hours per week
Shifts will fall between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Weekend: Every 3rd or 4th Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Call: None
Holidays: As needed

Floating

Primary location is York Hospital.
May be required to float to Apple Hill, approximately 2 miles away.

Holiday Requirement

Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 upcoming major holiday periods:

Thanksgiving Day / Black Friday
Christmas Eve / Christmas Day
New Year's Eve / New Year's Day

If the contract covers only 2 of these holiday periods, the traveler will be expected to work 1 of the 2.
Please do not request more than 1 holiday off.

RTO

Maximum RTO: 7 days

Screening & Interview Process

Pre-Screen Unit: Candidate profiles will first be reviewed by the clinical team to determine clinical fit.
Candidates who receive a clinical pass and meet WellSpan guidelines will be forwarded to the manager for the final decision.
Clinical screens will be conducted on a case-by-case basis.
Manager interview required.

Additional Information

May be required to care for COVID-19 patients.
Facility is tobacco-free and fragrance-free. Please notify the traveler of this requirement before submission.
