- Job Title: L&D - RN (Travel Contract)
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery (LDRP Unit)
- Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia (Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center)
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 13-week contract)

Position Summary 13-week travel contract for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in a 10-bed LDR, 3-triage, and 2-OR suite unit. Responsibilities involve managing inductions, C-sections, and spontaneous vaginal deliveries (SVD) using GE monitoring, Novii Wireless, Spectrum IV pumps, and CADD epidural PCA, with charting via Meditech. OR scrubs are required on the unit.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of L&D experience required
- Required Certifications: NRP and AHA BLS in hand at submission (Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and ACLS preferred)

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
