The ideal candidate will have strong recent ICU experience and be comfortable caring for critically ill patients in a Medical Intensive Care Unit/COVID ICU setting.<h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of ICU experience</li><li>BLS – Required</li><li>ACLS – Required</li><li>NIHSS – Required</li><li>CCRN – Preferred</li><li>Recent experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit</li><li>Experience with Cerner</li><li>Ability to provide safe, high-quality care in a critical care environment</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients</li><li>Monitor and assess patients for changes in condition</li><li>Administer medications and treatments according to orders</li><li>Manage complex medical and critical-care patients</li><li>Respond promptly to changes in patient status</li><li>Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team</li><li>Accurately document patient care using Cerner</li><li>Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards</li></ul><h3>Holiday Requirements</h3>Travel nurses must work 2 of the following 3 major holidays:<ul><li>Thanksgiving Day</li><li>Christmas Day</li><li>New Year's Day</li></ul>Additionally, nurses must work 1 minor holiday:<ul><li>Friday after Thanksgiving</li><li>Christmas Eve</li><li>New Year's Eve</li></ul><h3> </h3>
