Position Summary Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse needed for a day shift contract. Responsibilities include intraoperative nursing care and circulating duties. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of experience required
- Active compact nursing license in hand at submission (facility does not accept Nursys or background check hits)
- Compliance & Submission Rules: Strict 50-mile local radius rule; mandatory prior Providence work history disclosure (location and dates); commitment to work at least 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
