Certified Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech – Travel Contract
📍 Location: Bangor, ME 04402

💰 Pay: $55/hr on W2
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Highlights
- Travel Certified Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech position
- Must be proficient in:
- Total Joint
- Sports Medicine
- General Surgery
- Orthopedic Spine
Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment
- Scrub, gown, and glove surgical team members
- Perform surgical counts with the circulator
- Maintain a sterile field and follow strict infection-control standards
- Assist with surgical draping and pass instruments during procedures
- Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization
- Assist with OR turnover and preparation for the next procedure
- Support and train new staff and surgical technology students
Requirements
- Trade/Technical School certificate or diploma
- Current NBSTSA certification
- Active state license as required
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Strong experience in total joint, sports medicine, general surgery, and orthopedic spine
