Description
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures in a Level I Trauma Pediatric Facility.
Main Duties
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care.
- Perform circulating nurse responsibilities and monitor patient status.
- Support scrub nurse duties, including maintaining sterile technique and preparing instruments.
- Assist surgeons during procedures to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
- Document patient care accurately in the Cerner EHR.
- Collaborate with surgeons and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
