- Job Title: ICU - RN (Travel Contract)
- Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Location: Greenville, North Carolina (ECU Health Medical Center)
- Shift: Nights (NOC, 19:00 - 07:30; 3x12 hours, 36 hours/week; 13-week assignment starting any Monday)

Position Summary Travel ICU Registered Nurse needed for a 24-bed pulmonary critical care unit (staffing ratios 1:2 or 1:1). Primary patient population includes critically ill medical and pulmonary cases (acute respiratory failure, septic shock, ARDS, post-cardiac arrest, renal failure, and organ donor care). Key skills and competencies include ACLS emergency event management, CRRT, arterial/central line management, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, TTM, pronation therapy, and high-dose continuous drip management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of ICU experience required
- Active RN license (compact accepted) with ability to read cardiac strips
- Required Certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS
- Compliance & Submission Rules: Strict 80-mile radius rule for travel candidates

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
