Types of Cases Preferred: Unit Summary: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery. Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice.

First-timer travelers accepted: (Y/N) : Y
Weekend REQ: Yes, must be available to work weekends with full flexibility to be scheduled when needed
• With variable shift, weekend reqs depend what shift they’re on the schedule for:
• For days - 4 weekend shifts Saturday/Sunday
• For nights - 5 shifts Friday/Saturday
• one full weekend off per 4 week schedule
National Certs REQ: PALS and BLS
Is on-call REQ? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes
Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No
Special Requirements:
• CA license
• 2 full years of recent independent PICU experience (PICU experience must be within the last year, and not including orientation time) *Must have experience with at least a 10 bed PICU unit
• Willing to float between units (CVPICU & NICU)
• BLS
• PALS
• Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, specifically CVP and EKG.
• Prefers at least 1 travel assignment, however, will consider 1st timer if strong experience
