Schedule

• Option 1: 5 × 8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Option 2: 4 × 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage rotation may be required.
• No call/standby requirement.
• Holiday requirements: None specified.

Primary Responsibilities

This is an Adult Echo-only position. The sonographer will perform:

• Adult echocardiograms
• Image-enhancing agent studies
• Shunt/bubble studies
• Strain imaging
• Preliminary report preparation for the physician

Average workload: Approximately 8 studies/day, with 1-hour appointment slots.

Department

• 12 total scanning rooms combined
• No floating to other areas
• Lead Echo Sonographer and Lead Vascular Sonographer
• No RRA involvement
• IV-starting skills are beneficial but not required

• Philips Epiq 7
• GE Vivid E95

EMR: EPIC
Echo reporting: ISCV and Medstreaming

Required Certifications

Candidate must have BLS plus one qualifying cardiac/sonography credential:

• RCS — Registered Cardiac Sonographer, CCI
• RDCS-AE — Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Adult Echocardiography, ARDMS
