- Job Title: IMC/PCU/Stepdown - RN (Travel Contract)
- Specialty: Progressive Care / Stepdown / IMCU
- Location: Thomasville, Georgia (John D Archbold Memorial Hospital)
- Shift: Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00 - 07:00; 13-week assignment with possible extension)

Position Summary 13-week travel contract for an IMCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse at John D Archbold Memorial Hospital. Responsibilities include managing intermediate fetal monitoring, IV starts, lab draws/sample collection, and titrating critical drips. Royal blue scrubs required (not provided).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of recent critical care and ICU experience required (previous travel experience preferred)
- Required Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS in hand at submission
- Required Skills: FM - Intermediate, IV Start, Lab Draws/Sample Collecting, and titrating critical drips experience
- Compliance & Submission Rules: Strict mileage radius rules (candidates within 30 miles are not accepted; 31–50 miles accepted at local rate with $5 bill rate reduction); copy of Driver's License and updated Nursys report mandatory at submittal to verify residence; minimal to no RTO required (must be included at submission)

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
