POSITION OVERVIEW

The MRI Technologist will provide safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a teaching hospital environment. The technologist will perform MRI examinations, ensure patient safety, operate MRI equipment, and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification/licensure with required MRI advanced credentials
• BLS certification required
• Epic experience within the past 2 years – REQUIRED and nonnegotiable
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Philips MRI experience highly preferred
• Strong candidates without Philips experience may be considered
• Must be flexible with scheduling
• Must be able to work 1–2 weekends per month
• Reliable transportation required; public transportation is not accessible
• Personal vehicle or rental vehicle strongly recommended
• All-season or snow tires required/recommended November–April

TRAVEL/RADIUS RATE STRUCTURE

Rates are based on direct-line mileage, not driving distance:

• Travel: 101+ miles
• Radius: 51–100 miles
• Local: 50 miles or less

SCHEDULE

Primary Shift: Night Shift
7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• 36 hours per week
• Mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
• Monday–Sunday scheduling
• 1–2 weekends per month
• No call
• Flexible schedule required
• No block scheduling
