Inpatient Pharmacist – Acute Care<ul><li>Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM</li><li>Schedule: 8-hour days, 7 days/week coverage</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/week</li><li>Setting: Inpatient Acute Care Pharmacy</li><li>Experience: Inpatient RPh experience required</li><li>License: Michigan Pharmacist License + Controlled Substance License required</li><li>Certification: BLS (AHA)</li><li>Duties/Skills:<ul><li>Inpatient order entry</li><li>Order verification</li><li>Medication compounding</li><li>Support ER, ICU, inpatient, infusion and oncology</li><li>Supervise/work with pharmacy technicians</li></ul></li><li>Preferred: Paragon and Pyxis experience</li><li>Medication System: Pyxis ADC</li><li>Call: Required — 7 nights every 3 weeks</li><li>Weekend: Every 3rd weekend</li><li>Holiday: Required when it falls during assigned rotation</li><li>Call Hours: Generally 5:00 PM–6:00 AM, with weekend call extending overnight</li><li>EMR/Charting: Allscripts</li><li>Orientation: Pharmacy manager; approximately 1–2 weeks of training</li><li>Local Rule: Candidates within 80 miles are considered local; reduced rate applies</li></ul>
