Description

Key requirements

Position: Pre-Op RN
Distance requirement: Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility.
Schedule: 40 hours/week
- 4 × 10-hour shifts, or
- 5 × 8-hour shifts
- Call may be required
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op experience required
Important: Surgicenter-only experience is not preferred/acceptable, because the facility handles significantly more complex patients.
Clinical skills: Must be able to think critically and work independently.
Required certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Preferred certifications:
- CPAN
- TNCC
- CCRN
License: Current RN license in the applicable state/district required.
Education: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required.
BSN: Highly preferred.
