RN – Labor & Delivery | Travel Contract

Facility: UnityPoint Health
Location: Iowa
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 3×12 hrs | 36 hrs/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Weekend: Every 3rd weekend
Call: None
Rate: $103/hr

Unit Details

45-bed unit | 2 ORs
Patient ratio: 1:1–2
High-risk OB, antepartum, C-sections & vaginal deliveries
Drips: Magnesium, Insulin & Pitocin
EPIC EMR
Floating required across Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran

Requirements

Current/recent Labor & Delivery experience
High-risk OB Level II Trauma experience required
Antepartum, C-section & vaginal delivery experience
Must have completed at least one travel assignment within the past 12 months
Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN/FHM required
EPIC experience required
Active Iowa or Compact/Multistate RN license
BLS, ACLS & NRP required

Important Details

No local candidates within 50 miles
Every 3rd weekend required
Holiday rotation required
Previous UPH FTE/PRN employees must meet the 12-month separation policy
16 hours non-billable orientation
OT eligible after 40 hrs/week

Weekly Pay : $2,595.00
