Description
CARDIOLOGY CLINIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
A S A P START
- General Information:
- 353 Fairmont Blvd., Rapid City, SD
- Clinics will have up to 22 patients per day
- Minimum required experience – 1 year of Clinic experience required
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, with Clinic experience of any kind
- Travelers must live >100 miles away from facility
- Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
- Patient Types:
- Cardiology background: General Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Vascular Surgery
- Patient Ratios:
- Will see 22 patients per day
- Required Certifications:
- LPN: BLS
- Education Required:
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- Skills required:
- LPN: Clinic experience required. Cardiology experience required.
- Support on the Unit:
- EKG tech
- Clinical Assistants (3) – 1 CA per 10 rooms
- LPN
- Lead RN
- Nursing Manager (RN)
- Charting System:
- Epic (required)
- Floating: If yes, where?
- Only within the Cardiology clinic
- Orientation: (facility and unit)
- Facility per protocol and 3-4 days on unit side by side with nurse
- Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: no weekends
- Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? No call
- Holiday Expectations: 2/4 required
- Day after Thanksgiving is considered a Holiday
- Approval of time off? Contract extension to have a total of 13 weeks for any full week off
- Other notes:
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
