Description

Required Experience & Certifications — Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Experience

Minimum 1 year of hospital-based Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
Graduation from a formal Nuclear Medicine training program
Experience performing nuclear medicine procedures and producing diagnostic images
Experience with radiopharmaceutical preparation/administration
Radiation safety and NRC/ALARA compliance experience
Nuclear medicine camera quality control and troubleshooting experience
Experience with PACS and Nuclear Medicine Information Systems
Ability to work on-call and weekends, with a 30-minute arrival requirement
Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

Required Certifications / License

NMTCB certification OR ARRT (Nuclear) / RT(N)
BLS – AHA
Bachelor’s degree
Completion of a formal Nuclear Medicine training program
