Description
SRO Float Pool floating to various medsurg and tele units, Float across all acute care nursing areas depending upon staffing needs including Geriatric/Palliative Care, Orthopedics & Trauma, Medicine, Surgical, Neurology, Epilepsy, & Stroke, Acute Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Heme/Onc, Solid Organ Transplant, Thoracic Cardiovascular, Digestive Health, Acute Care Special Pathogens Unit (COVID), and ED Boarders - admitted patients who are boarding in the Emergency Department. We have a separate ICU and IMU float pool, so this does not include critical care or intermediate care units.

Every other weekend, every other holiday
Can approve 40 hours for time off
BLS required, ACLS preferred
Must adhere to UVAs float policy
