Job Description:

Position: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Sharon, Connecticut

Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule:

• 6:45am-7:15pm
• Day shift
• Every other Sunday required
• 36 hours per week

Travel Pay Package:

• $2,686 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals

Overview:

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary care across multiple hospital units
• Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders
• Administer oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, and other respiratory interventions
• Work throughout Acute Care, Emergency Department, ICU, and Med-Surg units
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ability to work independently in a variety of patient care settings
• Treat patients ranging from infants to elderly adults

Requirements:

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• Connecticut Respiratory Therapist license required
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
• BLS required
• NRP required
• Ability to work independently across multiple hospital departments
• Acute care experience required
• ACLS preferred
• PALS preferred
