Description

Role: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – CVOR

Setting: Acute care

Shift: 8- or 10-hour shifts, variable day/evening

Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours/week

Charting: EPIC

BSN: Not required

License to submit: Not required

Trauma level: Not specified

Required Experience

Minimum 3 years of cardiovascular (CV) scrub experience
Must be experienced with going “on bypass”
High-acuity CVOR experience strongly preferred
Must be comfortable working with approximately 25 different CV surgeons
No floating required

Expected experience includes:

CABG
MVR
AVR
Kidney transplant
Robotic cases
Peripheral vascular
Thoracic
Aortic repair
Vascular access
Hybrid procedures:
- TEVAR
- EVAR
- TAVR
Impella
IABP
ECMO
