Labor & Delivery RN – Travel Assignment

Shift: Night | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Location: Asheville, NC

Facility: Mission Hospital – Memorial Campus
Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

🩺 Position Requirements

Must have 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
High-risk L&D experience required
Immediate newborn care experience required
Circulating experience preferred
Experience with vaginal deliveries and C-sections

📋 Required Certifications

NRP
BLS/ALS
Advanced Fetal Monitoring

🏥 Unit Information

Unit: Labor & Delivery
Unit: 4th Floor, G Tower
Beds: 16
Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
EMR: Cerner
Equipment: Baxter pumps, Philips electronic fetal monitoring
Staff: Charge RN, PCT, CST, RN
Floating may include MFMU, MOMB, and NICU

Vaginal deliveries
Cesarean sections
D&C
Cerclage
C-hysterectomy

📅 Schedule

Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Guaranteed: 36 hours/week
Weekends: Not required
On-call: Not required; available upon approval
Contract: 91 weeks
