Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Skilled Nursing Facility

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week Skilled Nursing Facility contract in Orlando, Florida. This post-acute rehab opportunity offers the chance to work with adult and geriatric patients while helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, transfers, and overall functional independence.

This is a great fit for a PT who has SNF experience and enjoys working in a collaborative rehab environment while making a meaningful impact on patients throughout their recovery.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and physician orders.
• Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and medically complex conditions.
• Provide gait training, balance training, therapeutic exercise, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety strategies and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, OT, SLP, and the interdisciplinary rehab team.
• Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.

Requirements

• Active Florida PT license required.
• SNF experience required.
• BLS required.
• Time off requests must be submitted upfront.
• 30-day notice policy.
