(Returning Genesis travelers within the last 9 months may have additional start date eligibility.)

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care on a Comprehensive Medical Unit.
• Float between Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and other Med-Surg units as needed.
• Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, patient-centered care.
• Document all patient care using Epic EMR.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Epic EMR proficiency is required (must be independent—no refresher training provided)
• Strong telemetry rhythm interpretation skills
• Ability to float confidently between multiple Med-Surg specialties

Required Certification

• BLS

Important Notes

• Telemetry competency will be tested on Day 1.
• Candidates must be proficient in Epic and cardiac rhythm interpretation prior to starting.
• Failure to demonstrate Epic proficiency or pass the telemetry competency may result in contract termination.
