Description
Position: Lead Laboratory Assistant
Shift: Days
Hours: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours/week
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of clinical laboratory tests on biological specimens
- Prioritize laboratory testing based on requirements
- Review and evaluate test results
- Document and report laboratory results accurately
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Follow laboratory safety protocols
- Follow laboratory maintenance procedures
- Train and supervise:
- Laboratory assistants
- Trainees
- Clerks, as needed
