Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: Full-Time School-Based BCBA in Lakewood, WA!

We're currently seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students in the Lakewood/Tacoma, WA area.
Position Details
- Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Location: Lakewood, WA
- Setting: School-Based
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 17, 2027
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
- Hours: 35.5 hours per week, approximately 7.25 hours per day
- Pay: $68–$78 per hour
- Age Group/Caseload: TBD, discussed during interview
Required Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification in good standing
- Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing ABA-based interventions
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Develop and implement evidence-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Design ABA-based programs targeting communication, adaptive, behavioral, and social-emotional skills
- Train and supervise RBTs, paraeducators, and behavior support staff
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, SLPs, OTs, families, and other members of the IEP team
- Ensure services align with BACB ethical standards and district policies
