In this unique position, you will split your time between Obstetrics and Inpatient Nursing, offering a diverse clinical experience and the opportunity to make a lasting impact across multiple areas of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health status
• Educate patients and families on prenatal, postpartum, and newborn care
• Assist with labor support, delivery procedures, and postpartum recovery
• Provide compassionate inpatient nursing care when assigned outside the OB unit
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Deliver culturally sensitive, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• BLS required
• ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certifications preferred
• Previous OB/Labor & Delivery experience required
• Inpatient nursing experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills
• Ability to thrive in a rural and resourceful healthcare setting
• Previous tribal, rural, or critical access hospital experience is a plus
