Travel Labor & Delivery RN

Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• 2 or more completed travel assignments
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Every-other-weekend coverage required
• Floating required within the Women's Pavilion
• Call required: 2 twelve-hour call shifts every 6 weeks, including 1 weekend shift
• Block scheduling may be accommodated if weekend requirements are met

Clinical Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist laboring patients
• Communicate with providers
• Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections
• Triage patients at 20 weeks and above
• Support newborn resuscitation during deliveries
• Recover vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Provide care for antepartum patients requiring Labor & Delivery care

• Auto offers only; no interviews
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2 per staffing standards
