Required Certifications

Virginia Pharmacist License (RPh) – Required
PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy – Required
Epic experience – Required
Acute Care/Inpatient Pharmacy experience within the last 3 years – Required
Current professional standing in Virginia – Required

Required Experience

Strong acute care/inpatient pharmacy experience – Hard Stop
Recent experience cannot be only retail within the last 3 years
Experience with IV medications and pharmacotherapy management
Experience in a computerized hospital pharmacy setting
Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy
Experience with complex medication reconciliation and order recommendations/changes
Preferred: Pharmacy Residency (ASHP-accredited)
Preferred: Pyxis and Carousel System experience
