🔥 DAY-SHIFT HIGH-RISK OB ULTRASOUND TECH CONTRACT – NYC HEALTH + HOSPITALS

First Connect Health has an immediate travel contract opening for an experienced OB High-Risk Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) in New York City (Manhattan/Harlem), New York. Operating within the Diagnostic Radiology department at Harlem Hospital Center, this position offers a structured 5x8 daytime schedule (08:00 AM - 17:00 PM / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday). If you are an ARDMS-certified Sonographer with dedicated high-risk obstetrical ultrasound experience looking to secure a package of $3,490/week with tax-free stipends in NYC, this contract is built for you!

💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

  • Weekly Gross: $3,490.00
  • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $2,850.00
  • Hourly W2 Rate: $16.00/hr (40 regular hours)
  • Overtime Rate: $24.00/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours (08:00 AM - 17:00 PM / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday).
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours per week.
  • On-Call Requirements: NO ON-CALL REQUIRED! Enjoy your off-duty time free from standby calls.
  • Clinical Scope & Responsibilities: Performs specialized diagnostic medical sonography focusing on high-risk obstetrical cases, maternal-fetal assessments, detailed anatomic surveys, Doppler evaluations, and biophysical profiles in an acute hospital diagnostic radiology setting.

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of dedicated clinical High-Risk Obstetrical Ultrasound experience is required.
  • Education: Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program (military training accepted).
  • Certifications & Licensure Required:
    • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential issued by the ARDMS (Required).
    • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Preferred/Required).
